What are the conventions of digipaks?
A digipak is often used for special edition films, CD's and DVD'S. Digipaks also have gatefolds, where there are multiple compartments for the different contents of the digipak. For example, the digipak may contain a disc for the actual film, and then another compartment for the special effects and credits.

The first convention that I have noticed with Digipaks is that on the front of a Digipak, the name of the album and the artist is listed. This is to attract any potential customers who are fond of a certain artist.
The second convention of digipaks is that the digipak will have a track list/ what the DVD is about. A DVD would usually have a description on the plot of the movie, whereas the DVD will tell you the song names and the duration of the songs.
Finally, a digipak would have an age rating on the front of the copy, and also a parental advisory logo on the front if the digipak contained adult themes. The parental advisory is a very well known logo, so you will find that this is used more frequently than an age rating sign.
